Very well said Jason. Though we appreciate that they work so hard, day and night even without any compensation, but they should also be aware that we are amateur writers and are far behind the stage that they are on. At this stage what we crave is for feedback of our work not an ignorance. I especially hate the Ascent, they take upto 3 weeks and at the end leave a note saying the generic advice. WTF dude I just wasted my 3 weeks waiting for your reply and you sidelined me with better luck next time. This Is the reason I have started publishing in small publication. At least they provide valuable feedback for my work.
